Dallas right fielder Torjus Rasmussen had a good game, even if his team did not. The Texans dropped a 4-3 decision to El Paso at Inferno Field. Rasmussen went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Dallas's current losing streak is now 4 games.

Eric Linkletter drove in one run for El Paso. The 24-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Nathan Gladstone. It was his 42nd RBI of the season.

"No disrespect to the other team," said El Paso manager Joe Peters. "But it's nice to get an easy win."
