No matter what the Denver (R) Cutthroats threw at him, Bill de la Fuente hit it. He easily handled Cutthroats pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Voodoo triumph, 8-5, at PBC Rookie Development Complex.

"The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.

Told of de la Fuente's quip, Cutthroats skipper Jeremy Richardson said he "would take him up on that next time."

Bill de la Fuente singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 5th and singled in the 7th.

This season, de la Fuente is hitting .353 with 41 hits, 3 home runs, 17 RBIs, scored 25 runs and played in 25 games.
