Big Day for Sturtz: Swats 5 Hits
Who needs batting practice? Apparently not Quebec City Admirals left fielder Eustace Sturtz, who missed the team's pre-game session at Quebec City Grounds but peppered the Hamilton Tigers for 5 hits come game time. The Admirals went on to grab the 10-6 win.


"I was late to the park and I wasn't sure coach was even going to keep me in the lineup," he told the press after the game. "Maybe I should skip BP more often."


Eustace Sturtz singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

This year, Sturtz has hit 13 home runs and posted a .273 batting average.
