The Atlanta Pilots picked up a win at The Hangar, dropping the Indianapolis Clowns, 4-1. Carlos Correa, who finished 5th in the EC in strikeouts with 168 in 2018, was the difference-maker. Earning his 2nd save for Atlanta was Gary Ayala. The win hiked the Atlanta record to 23-18.

Atlanta right fielder Micah Meredith contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a splitter to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 38th hit of the season and put the Pilots ahead, 3-1.

"I like our moxie," said Pilots manager Atlanta Caretaker.
