A 5-RBI performance from Aaron Shelby, who is on pace to hit 24 home runs this season, helped the El Paso Diablos beat the Las Vegas Aces, 5-4. The first-place Diablos have won 7 in a row.

Shelby had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-1 fastball from Troy Degenstein, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Diablos a 5-4 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Shelby.

"We've been playing some good baseball," Shelby told the El Paso Times. "We're aggressive and focused on what we're going to do on the field and getting it done."
