Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the New York City Gothams and Tampa Bay Thunder.

The New York City Gothams beat the Tampa Bay Thunder, 8-3, at The Thunder Bowl. New York City center fielder Carlos Rice led the way. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice. Jim Jordan picked up the win, lifting his record to 3-4 on the season. He struck out 10 and walked 3 in 8.1 innings, while yielding 3 runs.
