Clowns Suffer One-Run Loss at Miami
The Miami Sun Sox defeated the Indianapolis Clowns, 6-5, in Eastern Circuit action at Sun Sox Stadium. Miami pitcher Jason Mortensen had a standout performance. Mortensen yielded 3 runs over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 8. His record improves to 3-4. Miami is 11th in the Eastern Circuit with a record of 14-25.
