The El Paso Diablos beat the New Orleans Voodoo, 9-5, at Inferno Field. Skylar Cole went 4-4 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The 25-year old shortstop was a menace to New Orleans all day. The Diablos have an impressive 41-16 record.

With the game tied, 4-4, in the bottom of the fifth, Cole had a key at-bat for El Paso. With a runner on 2nd, Cole hit a run-scoring single off Cortez Crus, making the score 5-4, Diablos.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Cole told the El Paso Times.
