Bibriesca, Clowns March to 7-4 Victory
The timely hitting of Robbie Bibriesca helped the Indianapolis Clowns down the Boston Shamrocks, 7-4. Bibriesca went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Clowns. Fernando Palomino got the win, improving to 6-4. He worked 7 innings, giving up 4 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 4. Matthew Browning recorded his 7th save for Indianapolis.

Bibriesca contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Indianapolis get the win.

Said Boston manager Dave Caswell: "They did a lot of things right. We did a lot of things wrong."

The win lifted the Indianapolis record to 29-25.
