Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at Trident Field.

The Chicago Union finished off the Indianapolis Clowns, 5-4. Much of the credit belonged to center fielder Jordan Blackwell. Blackwell went 2 for 3 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Union. Chicago pitcher Jason McNeal got the win. He's now 2-0. Matthew Browning was tagged with the loss.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Tom Shelton came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Indianapolis pitcher Matthew Browning, he hit a 0-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Chicago on top, 5-4.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Indianapolis manager Matt Mays said, following the tough loss.

Chicago is now 14-16, while Indianapolis is 18-12.
