Despite a great performance by Dallas center fielder Dean Lumby, the Las Vegas Aces defeated the Texans by the score of 9-8 at Caesers Palace Colosseum. Lumby went 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The 9th-place Texans have dropped 4 straight games.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Texans allowed the Aces to score the winning run.
