The Indianapolis Clowns topped the Philadelphia Keystones, 9-3, in Eastern Circuit action at Keystones Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Indianapolis pitcher Fernando Palomino. The Clowns bumped their record to 13-9 with this win.

The tide might have turned in the bottom of the seventh, had not Fernando Palomino made a big pitch. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Keystones trailing 7-0, he retired Chris Skousen when the Philadelphia pinch hitter struck out.
