Clowns Fight for 5-4 Win
The New York City Gothams got a superb performance from pitcher Jim Jordan, but the Indianapolis Clowns still won the game, 5-4. Jordan threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball. Matthew Browning collected save number 2. The win puts Indianapolis at 12-8 this season.

It could have been a different outcome for Indianapolis, had it not been for Sam Abel, the 31-year old second baseman . Abel contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Indianapolis up, 5-4.

"The other side took advantage in some key situations," said New York City manager Jacob Sanders.
