The San Francisco Peanuts got a marvelous performance from pitcher Kevin Keeth. The right-hander kept the San Diego offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 8-2 San Francisco victory at Tony Gywnn Park. Keeth picked up the win for San Francisco, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. The Roadrunners, now 3-10, continue their poor start.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ignacio Rodriguez? The San Francisco left fielder had a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Peanuts on top, 3-1. For the game, Rodriguez had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
