Medina drives in 5 runs to Light Knights Fuse
A 5-RBI performance from third baseman Fernando Medina, who finished 5th in the WC in batting average with .319 last year, led the Los Angeles Knights to a win over the San Francisco Peanuts, 11-4. Pete Townsend, who finished 2nd in the WC in strikeouts with 169 last year, was the winner. He's now 2-0. The loser was Asvarya Kabir. The Knights are off to a tough start, getting just their 4th win in 12 games.

In the top of the sixth, Los Angeles second baseman Brandon O'Keefe had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, O'Keefe stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 5-3, Los Angeles. For the game, he was 2 for 5 with 2 singles.
