The Indianapolis Clowns picked up a win at Boston Commons, taking down the Boston Shamrocks, 6-3. Starting pitcher Taek-hyun Yoon was a big reason why. Yoon got the win, improving to 1-2. He gave up 8 hits and walked 0 over 8 innings. He allowed 3 runs. Ben Russell notched his 2nd save of the season.
It could have been a different outcome for Indianapolis, had it not been for Amir Kelley, the 24-year old left fielder . Kelley contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Indianapolis up, 3-1.
"I was able to really locate my pitches tonight," said Yoon.
With the win, Indianapolis lifts its record to 8-3.
