The Las Vegas Aces got their 2024 season off and running with a win over the Los Angeles Knights at Caesers Palace Colosseum. The final score was 4-3. Las Vegas pitcher Eric Dixon, in particular, had a fine performance. Dixon got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 6 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. He allowed 3 runs. Justin Goldman recorded the save, his 1st.

Las Vegas took a 4-3 lead on Gui-fan Xiong's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Xiong hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Los Angeles pitcher Corey Martin visibly frustrated.
