Chicago Wins at Home to Narrow Series Deficit to 3-1
Leonardo Basora was not ready to let the Cup Qualifier end.

With the Chicago Union backed into a corner, the left-handed Basora held off the Detroit Motors. He threw 9.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The win cuts the series deficit for the Union to 3-1 in the best-of-7 series.

Leonardo Basora was masterful. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits over 9 innings.

"Leonardo was in charge the entire game," said Chicago manager Ron Chiu.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Trident Field in Chicago.
