Raucous Inferno Field Crowd Propels Diablos to 7-3 Victory; Series Tied at 1
The El Paso Diablos defeated the St. Louis Lions, 7-3, in Game 2 of the Play-in Series. Doing his part was starter Jian-gun Fou, who threw 7.2 innings of 6-hit ball. The win moves El Paso into a 1-1 tie with St. Louis in the series.

Aaron Shelby, who led the EC in RBI with 91 in 2017, helped out the El Paso cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-3 with 2 walks.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Shelby told the El Paso Times.

The next game is set to be played for Saturday, October 5th , 2024 at The Lions Hearth in St. Louis.
