Haasz Laces 3 HR Against Dallas (R) Tuesday, June 27th , 2023 Kevin Haasz went on an explosive hitting spree against the Dallas (R) Texans at PBC Rookie Development Complex, launching a trio of blasts to help the San Francisco (R) Peanuts win, 8-0. The catcher finished 4-for-4 with 3 runs scored and 3 runs batted in. "It was just one of those days," Haasz said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball." Dallas (R) skipper John Roe said Haasz was "locked-in." "We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him." Kevin Haasz hit a solo-shot off Aubert Damiani in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Aubert Damiani in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Chris Jessop in the 8th. In 13 games this season, Haasz has compiled a .382 batting average with 21 hits and 8 home runs. He has also scored 15 times and knocked in 12 runs. |
