Great Day for Lorenzo -- 5 Hits Sunday, August 28th , 2022 5 times is the charm -- at least for Manny Lorenzo. The Dallas (R) Texans catcher tore up the New York City (R) Blues to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at PBC Rookie Development Complex. The offensive onslaught from Lorenzo powered the 12-4 Texans win. "Lorenzo was a tough out," New York City (R) manager John Burris said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Manny Lorenzo singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jason Frederick in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
