Best RCLW Reliever Named Friday, October 27th , 2023 He may only be 18, but Daniel Ortiz of the Los Angeles (R) Knights has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the RCL West. The reliever was today named the RCLW Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2023. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 8 saves in 31 relief appearances and 53 strikeouts in 53.1 innings. He had a record of 6-4 to go with his 3.04 ERA. He received 21 first place votes out of a possible 24. Mario de Leon of the Las Vegas (R) Aces finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Jon Wolfe of the St. Louis (R) Lions finished third.
