Doyle Goes 5-for-8 Against Los Angeles (R) Monday, October 16th , 2023 Mark Doyle had an answer for everything the Los Angeles (R) Knights threw at him at PBC Rookie Development Complex. The Detroit (R) shortstop went 5-for-8 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Motors a win, 10-9. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Doyle said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Mark Doyle grounded out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 8th, grounded out in the 10th, singled in the 12th, singled in the 14th, walked in the 16th and hit an RBI single in the 18th.
