Knights Heading to Championship Cup Saturday, October 7th , 2023 The Los Angeles (R) Knights bandwagon is filling up fast, as the team has moved one step closer to winning a Championship Cup championship. Los Angeles (R) downed the Denver (R) Cutthroats 15-3 tonight at PBC Rookie Development Complex, to take the Cup Qualifier 4-1. "It seems much more real now and we're really starting to realize we've got a great shot at this thing," said Jorge Trevino, who was named series MVP. "When we play our best we're as good as anybody in the PBC Rookie Complex League." For the series, Trevino had 8 hits for .381, with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, 7 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Championship Cup matchups and schedule will be announced after the Cup Qualifier finishes. View Boxscore |
