Off-Field Accident Sidelines Vasquez Tuesday, October 3rd , 2023 Juan Vasquez was injured in an off-the-field accident today. The St. Louis (R) starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing his dog a frisbee. Team doctors expect him to be out 12-13 months. Thus far this season, Vasquez has worked 27.2 innings with 33 strikeouts en route to a 2-0 record and a 0.00 ERA. |
