20-Game Hitting Streak for Torres Saturday, September 30th , 2023 Juan Torres's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Arizona (R) third baseman smacked 2 hits against the Los Angeles (R) Knights in today's game at PBC Rookie Development Complex, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Suns drop the game, 6-4. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Juan Torres flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th. This year, Torres is batting .307 with 11 home runs. He has scored 45 runs and driven in 45. |
