Hunsaker Gone for Season in Minnesota (R) Monday, September 25th , 2023 The Minnesota (R) Loons will have to make do without Justin Hunsaker for 12 months. He suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Arizona (R) Suns. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the starting pitcher. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." Hunsaker has gone 2-3 this season with an ERA of 2.42 and 71 strikeouts in 70.2 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .248 against him. |
