Barroga Tames Philadelphia (R) Friday, September 8th , 2023 Miami (R) Sun Sox starter Raph Barroga really did a number on the Philadelphia (R) Keystones, shutting them out, 8-0, on 2 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 2 walks and had 9 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Philadelphia (R) manager Dante Leiva. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Barroga."
