Roadrunners Quesada Wins RCLW Best Hurler Honor Friday, September 1st , 2023 A money pitcher -- the guy to bet on, when the chips are down. That's a very good description of a bullpen specialist. And one of the best in the league is Israel Quesada of the San Diego (R) Roadrunners. He was outstanding in August and was named the Pitcher of the Month in the RCL West. In August, San Diego (R)'s star reliever held the opposition to a .220 average and put up 3 saves and 39 strikeouts in 29.2 innings with a 3-2 mark and a 1.52 ERA. Quesada has nailed down 3 saves for the year. He has also totaled 55 strikeouts and 15 walks in 43.1 innings while registering a 2.70 ERA and a 3-4 won-lost record. |
