Star of the Week Honored in RCLE Monday, August 28th , 2023 Clay Whalen went on a week-long hitting spree against RCL East pitchers and captured the Player of the Week honors. The Chicago (R) catcher battered the opposition for 15 hits, 3 home runs, 11 RBI and scored 8 runs. He hit .577 and posted a .571 on-base percentage. So far this season, Whalen is hitting .269 with 11 home runs, 51 RBIs and 37 runs scored. He has 63 hits in 234 at-bats and a .375 OBP. |
