Warriors Jackson Raps 3 Homers Monday, August 14th , 2023 Washington (R) shortstop David Jackson blasted three homers at PBC Rookie Development Complex in the 15-11 Warriors victory over the Philadelphia (R) Keystones. For the game, David Jackson scored 4 times and knocked in 7 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Jackson when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 4-for-5, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Jackson told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." David Jackson hit a three-run home run off Fatih Arikan in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Danny Hernandez in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jake Nothard in the 8th. This year, Jackson is hitting .287 with 14 home runs and 40 RBIs in 52 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .391 with 31 walks and 36 runs scored. |
