Hit Streak for Moreno Reaches 20 Sunday, August 13th , 2023 Danny Moreno's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Minnesota (R). The 19-year-old center fielder extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 1-for-3 performance against the El Paso (R) Diablos. The Loons won the game, 7-1. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Danny Moreno grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, walked in a run in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Juan Corretjer in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This season, Moreno has hit at a .290 clip with 29 RBIs, 9 home runs and 47 runs scored. He has played in 51 games. |
