Union Estrada Smacks 5 Hits Sunday, August 13th , 2023 It was a sensational day at the plate for Ivan Estrada as he led the charge to a nifty 13-10 win over the Bluebirds. The Chicago (R) second baseman was pure misery for the Nashville (R) pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Estrada put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Keith Godbee, manager for the Bluebirds, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Ivan Estrada singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
