Omar Rodriguez Out for 8 Months Sunday, July 30th , 2023 Earlier today, St. Louis (R) starting pitcher Omar Rodriguez had to leave the game against Los Angeles (R) because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a torn rotator cuff and will miss 8 months of play. Rodriguez was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. Checking out his stats for the season, Rodriguez has registered 1 win and 1 loss in 1 starts, posted a 4.50 ERA, and struck out 8 batters in 12 innings. |
