Big Day for Estrada: Swats 5 Hits Tuesday, July 25th , 2023 It was a parade of hits for Ivan Estrada of the Chicago (R) Union at PBC Rookie Development Complex. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Estrada finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 7 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Union to a win, 17-2. "Estrada was really good and we were really bad," groaned Sun Sox manager John Barnett. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Ivan Estrada tripled in the 1st, grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Joel Franco in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
