Bluebirds Chill Haston Hot Streak Monday, July 24th , 2023 The Toronto (R) Titans lost to the Nashville (R) Bluebirds by the score of 6-5 at PBC Rookie Development Complex, but the bigger story was the end of a hit streak. Toronto (R) shortstop Tim Haston had been working on a 23-game hitting streak, but went 0-for-5 against the Bluebirds to bring the hot stretch to an end. "I couldn't do my job and we lost the game," he said in postgame remarks. "It just goes to show how important I am to this team, and how critical it is that I play to the best of my abilities." Haston is hitting at a .347 mark this season. His stats show 4 home runs, 19 RBIs and 31 runs scored. He has played 35 games for the Titans. |
