Best Pitcher Trophy Won by Twisters Petty Tuesday, September 26th , 2023 The Western Amateur Circuit made the official announcement today. The 2023 Western Amateur Circuit Pitcher of the Year Award has gone to Jason Petty of Tulsa. He had a superlative season, chalking up a 14-3 won-lost mark with an impressive 2.59 ERA. Petty logged 27 starts, threw 191.1 innings, yielded 175 hits, struck out 179 and held the opposition to a .244 batting average. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Kenny Katsnelson of the Albuquerque Coyotes finished second in voting, while David Phillips of the Dallas Bulls finished third.
