EAC Gives Outstanding Pitcher Award Tuesday, September 26th , 2023 Mark Weber walked away with the top pitching honors in the Eastern Amateur Circuit this year. The Oil City Oilers starter was named the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for 2023 earlier today. This outstanding 25-year-old hurler fashioned a fine 15-8 won-lost record in 29 starts. He threw 193.1 innings, giving up 182 hits and 58 walks and holding opponents to a .252 average. Weber struck out 205 and posted a 3.44 ERA. He received 12 first place votes out of a possible 20. Steve Harris of the Manhattan Liberty finished second in voting with 8 first place votes, while Jon Santo of the Fort Wayne Farmers finished third.
