Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Cardenas Saturday, September 23rd , 2023 At the young age of only 26, Bobby Cardenas has been named the Eastern Amateur Circuit Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2023. The future appears bright for the Manchester Monarchs relief ace, who captured the award with 15 saves in 46 relief appearances, 90 strikeouts in 77 innings and a record of 10-8 to go with his 3.51 ERA. He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 20. Manuel Padilla of the Manhattan Liberty finished second in voting with 7 first place votes, while Scott Jacques of the St. Petersburg Pelicans finished third.
