Briseno Top EAC Pitcher in August Friday, September 1st , 2023 When Ivan Briseno takes the hill, there's a good chance for a Providence victory. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 4-0 mark and a 1.55 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 40.2 innings, fanned 39, and held enemy hitters to a .199 average. That's why the Grays star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the Eastern Amateur Circuit. Checking out his stats for the season, Briseno has racked up 4 wins and no losses in 9 starts, posted a 3.04 ERA, and struck out 49 batters in 56.1 innings. |
