Veneziano Awarded August's WAC Top Bat Prize Friday, September 1st , 2023 When Adolfo Veneziano stepped up to the plate in August he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Western Amateur Circuit Batter of the Month award. The young Yuma left fielder posted a .417 batting average with 7 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 20 runs. Veneziano also worked pitchers for 17 walks to post a .504 on-base percentage. This season, Veneziano is swinging the bat at a .347 pace. He has hit 11 home runs and scored 32 times, while driving in 37. His on-base percentage is .469 and he has played in 49 games. |
