Franklin Crowned Top EAC Hitter in August Friday, September 1st , 2023 Fort Wayne Farmers fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in August. Zaire Franklin put up a remarkable month at the age of 24 and has been named the Eastern Amateur Circuit Batter of the Month. For the month, Franklin hit .333 with 7 home runs, 27 RBIs and 26 runs scored. For the season, Franklin has produced 71 hits in 251 at-bats for a .283 average with 11 home runs and gotten on base at a .376 clip. |
