Huttunen Selected Top Performer in EAC Monday, August 21st , 2023 Franklin Knights catcher Ari Huttunen walked away with the Eastern Amateur Circuit Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Knights fans are really behind me right now," said the 26-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Huttunen batted .476 (10-for-21) with 3 home runs and 7 RBIs this week on his way to the award. This season, Huttunen is batting at a .311 clip with 7 home runs and 19 RBIs. |
