Stars Lose Morales for 8-9 Months Thursday, August 17th , 2023 Joel Morales has to call it a season. The Hollywood Stars reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Arlington Stars and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Morales was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 8-9 months. Taking a look at his season, Morales has made 23 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 0-1 won-lost mark and a 7.75 ERA. In pitching 33.2 innings, he has totaled 22 strikeouts and 29 walks. |
