Czap Pitches Gem as Liberty Beat St. Petersburg, 6-0 Saturday, August 12th , 2023 Josh Czap of the Manhattan Liberty was masterful, pitching a 3-hit shutout, 6-0, against the St. Petersburg Pelicans. By going the distance, he was at the same time able to give his bullpen a rest, a fact appreciated by Manhattan manager Chuichi Yamamoto. "It's nice to have someone who can do that from time to time," he said. "He had command of every ball and every pitch. Great location, too." Czap had 5 strikeouts and 1 walk in the outing.
