Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for St. Petersburg Friday, August 4th , 2023 The St. Petersburg Pelicans never had much playoff hope this season anyway, but now it's official -- the team has been mathematically eliminated from the postseason. This is the club's 10th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2013. In total, the Pelicans have missed the playoffs 12 times in their 16-year history. St. Petersburg has won the Amateur Circut Cup 3 times in their history. |
