Rice Thwarts St. Petersburg, 1-0 Thursday, August 3rd , 2023 In an excellent mound performance, Chris Rice of the Franklin Knights blanked the St. Petersburg Pelicans, 1-0, on a 4-hitter. "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game. In all, the Franklin hurler rang up 6 strikeouts and 3 walks in the shutout win.
