Season May Be Over for Buccaneers Fowlow Tuesday, August 1st , 2023 New Orleans fans held their breath as Lloyd Fowlow left yesterday's Apollos-Buccaneers contest with an injury. After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 33-year-old starting pitcher had suffered a bone spur in his elbow while throwing a pitch. It's estimated that he will be out 4-5 months. This year, Fowlow has worked 23.2 innings with 17 strikeouts en route to a 1-0 record and a 1.52 ERA. |
