Schwindt Week's #1 Player Monday, July 31st , 2023 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Providence's Jerrod Schwindt put up last week were the envy of the league, as Schwindt came away with Eastern Amateur Circuit Player of the Week honors. He belted out 7 hits in 11 at-bats, 3 home runs and 8 RBIs last week as he posted his .636 batting average. So far this year, Schwindt has hit .302 with 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and 13 runs scored. |
