El Paso Comes up Empty Against Aguilera Tuesday, July 18th , 2023 Today was Fernando Aguilera's turn in the rotation for the Arlington Stars and he made the most of it, shutting out the El Paso Mavericks on 4 hits. The 25-year-old right-hander led the Stars to an easy 6-0 victory, allowing 2 walks and tallying 10 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," El Paso manager Kevin Jones said. "Aguilera certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
